ECCO dominated Östersund Marathon
Even though Östersund is located in the northern part of Sweden, it was an extremely hot day with 32 degrees in the shadow. But not even the temperature could keep Wilson Kogo from the ECCO Team winning the race in 2:40:52 - almost 14 minutes ahead of number two. Regional Marketing Manager, Fredrik Öhgren, was very satisfied with the event.
“In spite of the crazy heat, the atmosphere among the spectators and the 300 runners was fantastic,” Fredrik Öhgren says. He anticipates that the race will grow to more than 500 participants next year.
