Personal Assistant to Executive Vice President Global Sales

For the position of Personal Assistant to our Executive Vice President (EVP) for the business area "Global Sales" in Tønder we are looking for a person who likes to plan and coordinate tasks and projects. You will be challenged by a working day characterized by a high activity level in an international environment where no days are the same.

Global Sales has the overall responsibility for ECCO's three sales regions, Europe, Americas and Asia Pacific and is furthermore responsible for the ECCO global retail activities, global customer service and strategy. The EVP is responsible for the management, operation and development of the entire business area and as the assistant to the EVP you will be responsible for the daily operation of the EVP's secretariat and ensure that all daily activities are performed at a high professional level.

Your tasks will range from performing routine daily tasks to coordinating overall projects within the business area. You will have extensive contact to both national and international business partners so you must be fluent in the English language in both writing and speech. Knowledge of working in an international environment is a must, and additional language skills will be positively scaled in the assessment.

Your tasks will e.g. be:

  • General Support to the EVP.
  • Follow-up and reporting in correlation with existing action plans within the business area.
  • Handling the international flow of information within the business area.
  • Updating and coordination of the calendar and the overall planning for the EVP and the business area.
  • Participation in prioritizing and launching of new tasks.
  • Administrative tasks such as travel planning, preparing presentations, minutes of meetings, correspondence etc.

You have to be:

  • Proactive and result-oriented.
  • Extremely structured and good at organizing and keeping track of multiple tasks.
  • Detail-oriented without losing the overall target and overview.
  • Able to communicate with partners at all levels.
  • Articulated in speech and writing.
  • Able to think untraditionally.
IT-wise, you are a super user in the Microsoft Office package and preferably experienced in SAP.You must have experience from a similar position or as an executive secretary.
