ECCO introduced in Pakistan
On the 3rd of October, ECCO opened its first franchise concept shop in Pakistan. The shop is situated in a prime location in Gulberg, the exclusive shopping district of Lahore.
The media buzz for the opening was tremendous with 10 TV channels and numerous members of the press covering the event. More than 200 guests including models, actors, actresses and representatives from the business community attended the lavish festivities to celebrate the launch of the brand.
The guest of honor was the former Pakistan national cricket team captain Wasim Akram who is undoubtedly one of the most famous personalities in Pakistan.
The collection was received extremely well and the customers were happy that that they now can purchase ECCO shoes. Sales on the opening evening exceeded 30 pairs with an average of 20 pairs per day after the opening.
