    These elistas were comfortable and turned heads wherever I walked. They were like bringing my own red carpet with me and I was more than happy to promote the store where I purchased them. However, after one week, they began to peel wherever they should have softened and flexed and also up the calf seam. I thought I was purchasing leather but they appeared more like a thin plastic red coating and cracked through to the next black fabric layer/lining. The store offered to replace them suggesting it was just a defect but I didn't want to take the chance of it happening to a second pair when this was a big investment in footwear for me.
