    I have the previous generation of the Classic. I got it over 1 year ago, and have played approximately 15 rounds in it so it still looks new. It has been thoroughly cleaned and polished after every round and always stored with cedar shoe trees. This past weekend the right sole began separating from the uppers. Being a shoe that cost approximately $130 I took it to the Ecco salesperson who, although acknowledging that the shoes looked virtually brand-new, said Ecco would do nothing because the warranty expired after 12 months. I emphasized that being a shoe sold heavily upon its quality, an Ecco shoe should not fall apart so soon after the warranty had expired (or ever). I purchased from the same store a pair of Geox that had a similar problem: the sole separating from the uppers. The Geox salesperson didn't bother asking when and where I purchased the Geox shoes. She returned that pair to the Geox factory for prompt repair. This led to my purchase of my second pair of Geox shoes. After some persuasion, Ecco agreed to send my Classic pair in "for inspection". No promises, just an inspection. I have my fingers crossed that Ecco might back up its claim of selling quality products. When Ecco does respond, I will update my review of its Classic golf shoes.

    These are so comfotable that I have surched out other shoes that ECCO makes. I have hiking pair now and love them just as much. They are the best shoes I've ever owned.

    I own two pair of these great shoes. Very comfortable and good looking. I think they have had something to do with lowering my handicap. Thanks ECCO!!
