These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, and I've just gone through my third pair in 10 years or so (I walk a lot). The first pair was great, lasting me 5-6 years of daily use, but the second and third disintegrated much faster - like others, the rubber degraded before the soles were nearly worn down enough to be worth replacing. I also had to have the upper sections re-stitched - seems to me that they're using a lower quality of thread than before. But I'm probably going to buy another pair anyway - I just cannot find a pair of similar shoes made by other manufacturers that are as comfortable.

I bought a pair of Ecco Track a few years ago and have rarely worn them, perhaps 4-6 times per year. In fact, they are barely broken in, bothering my feet by the end of the day - I have a desk job. Now the soles are falling apart, the rubber just crumbling and tearing off. This is extremely aggravating, given the price that I paid and the amount of wear i have (not) gotten. Apparently, given the expereinces of others, this is not an isolated incident. The claim when I bought them was that they'd last forever. Far from it.

I've had a pair or two of Ecco Track II shoes for last 10 years and I wear them every day. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned and they can be fit anywhere. Outdoors as well as in the city. Really geat job overall with design and craftsmanship. The only problem I have is that the Black version is no longer available in US stores for 2 years now. Please, get them back or let me know where can I buy the black one's online.

I've owned successive pairs of track II shoes for well in excess of the last ten years. I presently have 2 pairs; one black and one brown. Put simply they are the best all round shoes available for comfort, durability and all terrain use.

Excellent shoe. The most important thing for me with a shoe is wear because I regularly do long walks in all types of terrain. I've had the same pair for a few years now and they just seem to last and last. . I 've noticed a few people here had problems with wear, but I haven't found the same problem

I OWN 5 PAIRS OF ECCO TRACK II AND THE FIRST TIME I SAW THEM MY WIFE ASKED ME TO TRY THEM ON AND I TOLD HER SHE WAS CRAZY AND MUST BE ON CRACK THE PRICE WAS 189.00 US I NEVER PAID THAT MUCH FOR A PAIR OF SHOES SO I KISSED UP TO HER AND TRIED THEM ON AND I DIDN'T TAKE THEM OFF I WORE THEM RIGHT OUT OF THE STORE I THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY PAYING 189.00 FOR A PAIR OF SHOES. I MUST SAY THAT I HAD A HARD TIME WALKING WITH MY OLD SHOES MY FEET GOT CORRECTED USING THESE SHOES. I THINK I'VE PURCHASED ABOUT 30 PAIRS SINCE I TRIED THEM ON BUT I MUST SAY I HAD A PAIR THAT I WASN'T HAPPY WITH THE BOTTOMS JUST CAME APART I SENT THEM IN FOR REPAIR AND THEY REFUSED TO FIX THEM AT THEIR EXPENCE I WAS UPSET THAT THEY DIDN'T RECONIZE ME AS A DEDICATED CUSTOMER. I GUESS THEY DONT HAVE TO I'M STUCK WIH THEM.

i have a pair of trek ll shoes for the past 4 years and i absolutley love them i wear them all day every. i am constantly on my feet and yet they are fantastic. now dont get me wrong they are showing signs of wear partly because i own a bakery and they get flour on them and partly because sometimes i power hose them to clean them. the only problem i have with them is my wife hates them and calls them claud hoppers, i reallly wish i could get the same comfort with a slightly more moder design.

The first pair I bought started to come apart at the upper seam in less than a year. I got a replacement pair and now I am having the same problem with the second pair. I like the shoe but expected a longer wearing shoe. At this rate, I will be lucky to get three to four years wear.

Very comfortable shoe and look great however the sole wears very poorly, mine are only 15 months old and cost me £120. The soles have worn through to the core despite very light use ony once or so per week. The uppers remain in perfect condition but they are unrepairable so I rate them as poor value for money

I just bought a pair of Ecco Track II shoes today and I am very pleased with them. Comfortable fit, and the material and craftsmanship are top notch. I bought a pair of Ecco Sierra Receptor shoes before and they are light, comfortable, I love the look of them, and they are really durable. I had that pair for five years of daily wear and tear and apart from a small hole at a folding point on top, the soles and internal backside of the shoes are still good. Where other brand-name shoes fell apart for me, Ecco shoes just last and last. Great quality, I am very impressed, and I love this brand. Worth every penny.

Excellent Shoe. I just purchased a pair from Nordstroms locally and while the retail is a bit steep I don't mind the extra cost as Nordstroms and Ecco have always had great customer service in the past. The leather quality is also excellent and quite thick but forgiving and the shoe breathes very well. Possibly my new favorite shoe, I'm tempted to purchase a second one as I love the style and I'd hate to dislike any future revision to it.

My fysiotherapist and podotherapist recommended this particular model. Since I don't walked to well (about 50%) due to a motoric problem, they give me the advise to stabelize my feet, Since then, I reach 75%. Thanks for the advise, thank you Ecco. Ki
