    These are fantastic shoes. These look great and perform amazing. I will buy this model for the rest of my working life >40 years. If anyone from ecco reads these....do not delete this model....or any for that matter....i have no interest in any other shoe. The most annoying thing for me is trying to find clothing/shoes every time because they keep changing! Now i have found this one, i will not be requiring a pink fluffy boots next year because pink fluffy boots are "in fashion". Do you get me? I get fed up with fashions in the shoe industry. I am a man. I don't do fashion. i do function. I blame designers justifying their existence by bringing out "latest fashions" every year. ARGHH!

    I love these shoes! My first pair lasted for about 1.5 years. Due to the way I walk, and the extra assistance I use for my walking,I usually plow through shoes. These shoes are made so well, they withstand everything I throw at them! I sent my shoes in for re-soling and figured they would laugh and send them back to me with a note saying - "buy new shoes, pal!" But they resoled them and they look great! I bought two more pairs after that (brown and another black) so I have backups for when I need to send them in for re-soling. The leather is fantastic! They are very light and very comfortable to walk in! Your foot breaths well in them. I just wish the insoles lasted a little better or were a little more forgiving. But overall, I recommend these to anyone! They do run big so you are better off going to a retail store to really get a size that fits. And they are genuine leather so they will conform to your foot. Another reason to have them re-soled.

    I was very unhappy with my Berlin shoes, in two months of light wear with no soaking in water and no rough use the soles have split across the centre on both shoes. I have returned them for replacement.
