ECCO Walkathon in Copenhagen
The ECCO Walkathon in Copenhagen is the first Walkathon event in 2007. ECCO Walkathon in Copenhagen is held this Sunday on August 26. This year, ECCO Walkathon puts an even bigger focus on the charity projects supported by the event. ECCO has worked closely with the three charity organisations, namely WWF, Street Kids International and the Danish Heart association to find targeted projects for which ECCO Walkathon can really make a difference.
ECCO donates five DKK for each kilometer walked by the participants during the day. The participants in the ECCO Walkathon can choose to donate their money to street kids in Kenya or Poland, the Children’s heart foundation or WWF’s project to save rainforest areas in Congo.
The next Walkathon takes place in Gothenburg on September 2. The biggest ECCO Walkathon is set in Warsaw on September 15 with approximately 20.000 participants. The last ECCO Walkathon event this year takes place in Berlin on September 23.
