Being the only major shoe company to own the entire value chain, from cow to consumer, gives us the opportunity and obligation to make a difference. By owning our own tanneries we are able to convert waste into hydrogen fuel that saves us nearly 14,000 litres of diesel oil each month. Taking measures like this are a win-win situation, not only does it make sense, it’s also good business.
