What about the width?
ECCO's line of shoes utilizes a unique type of fit. Due to this our shoes are able to to fit a very wide variety of feet. ECCO's fit from heel to instep (not to the ball of the foot). We refer to this as the ECCO "Freedom Fit". Conventional shoes fit across the width of your feet at the toes. This restricts the natural spreading of your toes under the pressure of walking. This "Freedom Fit" allows the toes to move freely as you walk.

Receptor supports the way your body moves naturally, acknowledging that for every step you take, your foot takes three. Dual axis flex channels
Let the shoe help you save energy by mirroring the natural flex pattern. Reduce energy consumption with a shoe that replicates the flex pattern of the bare foot.

Forefoot propulsion plate
Save energy with every step as the plate provides additional torque. The "three-finger" propulsion plate enhances the natural stride by mimicking the foot's biomechanics while walking.

Exo-skeletal wrap-around shank
Stand your ground with an exterior shank that enhances stability. The shank allows the foot's great ligament to lock into place for enhanced stability during the mid-stance phase.

Earth sensing unit
Hold your footing with a sensing unit that enhances stability. The heel is better able to "sense" the ground, assuring you firmer footing.

No matter what the weather, GORE-TEX® Footwear keeps your feet dry and comfortable, providing perfect climate comfort. GORE-TEX® Footwear is durably waterproof, breathable and protects you from even the toughest conditions – guaranteed.
The heart of GORE-TEX® Footwear is the GORE-TEX® membrane. It's microscopic pores are 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet but 700 times larger than a water vapour molecule. The result: Water from the outside will never penetrate and perspiration can escape easily.

ECCO will not sell, distribute, publish or otherwise disclose your personally identifying information without your express permission to anyone outside the ECCO Group.
Your information will not be shared with any third party except (i) as authorized by you in accordance with this privacy policy to deliver services you request, and (ii) if compelled to do so by proper judicial or governmental authorities.
From time to time, we may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf (e.g., outsourced e-mail delivery companies). They will have access to your personally identifying information in order to perform their functions, but may not use the information for any other purposes. In such cases, we will have a nondisclosure agreement with the service provider to ensure your contact information is protected and is not misused.
Personal data shall not be transferred to another entity, country or territory, unless reasonable and appropriate steps have been taken to maintain the required level of data protection.
