ECCO WALKATHON 2012 - COME TO BELIEVE
This is the eighth edition of this extraordinary event in Poland. The idea of action is simple and unchanged for years. Just go the route of six or ten kilometers, and the organizer of the action, ECCO, for every km traveled by the participant, will pay 4 gold on account of his chosen charity. This year, ECCO Walkathon will support TVN Foundation "you are not alone" - in aid of sick children
for cerebral palsy, Foundation Radio ZET, which together will purchase a modern ultrasound scanner for detecting heart defects in children before their birth (for the Department of Diagnostic and Prevention of ICZMP in Łódź) and Warsaw ZOO build a pasture for a family of hippos.

This year, walkers will follow a very scenic and attractive routes parks and public gardens of Warsaw. As in previous years have been prepared two routes with a length of 6 and 10 kilometers. Center of the event will be Agrykola, the historic site located between the Castle and the Piaseczyński Canal. Among the attractions walking on the road 6 km, is the Polish Army Museum, where participants will be able to admire the old aircraft and other vehicles. It is planned to also go through the Copernicus Science Centre. ECCO Walkathon walking trail also runs next to the colorful fountain in Podzamcze.

ECCO Walkathon 2012 will be conducted by well-known and popular journalists: Dorota Wellman and
Bartek Jędrzejak, on the way walkers will be warmed by great choregrapher and dancer Michał Piróg. Cheer for the walk will include such polish actors and musicians as: Staszek Karpiel Bułecka, Rafał Bryndal, Agnieszka Cegielska, Dorota Gardias, Jarosław Gugała, Wojciech Jagielski, Oliver Janiak, Bartek Jędrzejak, Tomasz Karolak, Jaroslaw Kret, Julia Kamińska, Tatiana Okupnik, Edyta Olszówka, Monika Olejnik, Natalia, Ricky Lion, Anna Maruszeczko, Agnieszka Mikołajczyk, Michał Piróg, Magdalena Różczka, Adam Wajrak, Paweł Wawrzecki, Karol Strasburger and Katarzyna Zielińska.
Also on ECCO Walkathon we will take a part in concerts of well known singers:
