The heritage of ECCO means a great deal to me, but our future is far more important.

Our vision is to become the best shoe company in the world. It is an ambitious aim, which requires that we have the best and brightest people - people with passion, ambition, and a will to make a difference. As a global team of close to 20,000 people, it is critical that everybody understands our objectives and our long-term goals. For this reason, we have developed the Trainee Programme to introduce talented people to the corporate world of ECCO.

The Trainee Programme combines the practical aspects of international business affairs with a strong theoretical foundation. All trainees are challenged and are expected to work independently with their own projects. To run a global company you need people with a global mindset. Therefore we encourage all trainees to explore new cultures and countries through expatriation in our foreign subsidiaries.

The Trainee Programme introduces you to the corporate world of ECCO and gives you a unique opportunity to work in various departments across the entire value chain. Through this you will acquire invaluable skills and a large network that will help build your future career.

The above is one of the main reasons why I chose to join ECCO’s Trainee Programme 17 years ago when I started my professional career. I have learned a great deal from my time with ECCO, and today I can look back at a long list of invaluable experiences.
