THE WALK IN STYLE 2012 AWARD NOMINEES

ECCO presents six fantastic women for ECCO Walk in Style Award 2012 representing, Denmark, Poland, Norway, Sweden, Russia and The Netherlands.

The ECCO Walk in Style Award, first announced in 2008, was conceived in order to increase awareness of issues facing some of the world’s most vulnerable women. On January 31, 2012 yet another courageous woman will win the main prize of €33,500, which she can donate to the charity of her choice to improve other women’s quality of life. The five other nominees will receive €1,300 for their projects.

All of the six nominated women have achieved success by putting their talents and skills to good use. They all express the confidence necessary to make the world a more comfortable place in which to live. Each, in her own way, is open-minded, unconventional, caring, and at ease with herself.
