One of the most popular players in history, Couples has captured 15 PGA Tour events during his 30-year career, including the 1992 Masters. Known for his effortless-yet-powerful swing, the 52-year-old was twice named PGA Tour Player of the Year (1991, 1992) and has been a member of five Ryder Cup teams. In 2009 and 2011, he captained the U.S. President’s Cup team to decisive victories over the International squad.
Couples’ remarkable 2010 season included a sixth place finish at the Masters and four wins during his inaugural Champions Tour campaign. He followed that in 2011 by capturing a major at the Senior Players Championship, notching a victory at the AT&T Championship and five additional top-10s while splitting time between the PGA and Champions Tours.
