The ECCO Code of Conduct Audit
In the ECCO Group, we pay special attention to audits. For us the ECCO Code of Conduct and the ECCO Group’s Policy for Environment, Health and Safety are not only words on paper.
The key words in ECCO’s audit programme are partnership, openness, education and training – hereby the foundation for a good environment and healthy and safe work conditions can be created. We believe that through teamwork and cooperation we can reach much higher and achieve better results – than we could through just checking. In the short-term, checks reveal things that are not as they should be.
But an audit is much more than just checking. It is through education and coaching that we really guarantee that things are as they should be. In all corners of the business – in our own factories as well as at our suppliers. This is done through audits from headquarter, and ECCO employees are seconded to the most significant suppliers.
